I realize that this is a problem with a specific program, not a problem with Windows 10's functionality itself. I have already contacted the developer of this software. Hopefully someone who has had success getting around the compatibility issues of this or other programs could provide me some insight.

Aster v7 is a multi-seat program that allows users to access separate workstations using the same computer. Similar to the program softXpand, Aster v7 allows for two users to simultaneously log on to windows, play graphically intensive games, surf the internet, or any other normal windows user function.

Windows 8.1 ran the program fine; however, with Windows 10, the program won't start at all. Its essential that I can get this program running again as there is only one computer in the household and currently one station is unusable. Not to mention I have paid for this program so it would be nice to be able to use it with the new features of Windows 10.
The program will install without the need of any compatibility settings. When I try to run it for the first time, the normal activation window will pop up. However, after activating the product and trying to open it, it refuses to open.
I have tried the following but receive the same failed result:
- Restarting the computer
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the program
- Running the program with windows compatibility mode for Windows Vista (service pack 2), Windows 7, and Windows 8 with administrator privileges
- Installing the program with windows compatibility mode for Windows Vista (service pack 2), Windows 7, and Windows 8 with administrator privileges
If you have had success with this program or have found a different way to get incompatible programs to function with Windows 10, please let me know.
