I dave been getting random memory dumps.
I have been trying to learn how to use dumpchk.exe but can't quite figure out how to open and 'READ' mini dump files.
The memeory dumps have generated 'minixxxxxxx.dmp files and as I understand it, dumpchk.exe can 'read' them.
Once opened a memory location indicates which operation or driver initiated the halt command to (in my case) which of 2 cpu's? From there I can go to the MS support data base and look up the problem causing command and correct the problem?
Please excuse if I don't fully understand!
Need help on this one as I am in uncharted waters here!
